14.Cynthia Nixon and Christine Marinoni

Cynthia Nixon, popular for her work as Miranda on SATC, has been married to advocate Christine Marinoni since 2012. The couple has a son together, Max, and raises Nixon’s two kids from a previous relationship.

Nixon met Marinoni in 2001 while they were advocating for the same cause via the Alliance for Quality Education, a non-profit organization that Marinoni helped found. The two bonded after Nixon’s split from her former husband in 2003 and started dating in 2004. They became engaged in 2009 at a New York rally and exchanged “I do’s” on a city rooftop three years later. Marinoni wore a suit, and Nixon wore a green gown by Carolina Herrera. According to Nixon, falling in love with her wife gave her a huge degree of delight. Marinoni, on the other hand, is grateful to be happily married with kids.
