17. Jon Bon Jovi and Dorothea Hurley

Jon Bon Jovi has been thrilling viewers for over three decades as the Billboard-topping rock band Bon Jovi singer. The band was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame for hits like It’s My Life and Livin’ on a Prayer. Although his music, to some degree, portrays him as a bed-jumping, boozing rocker, the lead singer has been happily married to Dorothea Hurley since the beginning of his career.

Jon first met Dorothea in 1980. They both grew up in New Jersey and were in the same class at Sayreville War Memorial High School. Hurley had another boyfriend, but the relationship was doomed to fail. Hurley and Bon Jovi started dating after Hurley’s boyfriend joined the military and left town. Though they began dating in the early 1980s, they decided to wait to marry because Bon Jovi’s rock and roll career was on the rise, and throwing a wedding at the same time would have been difficult. Despite this, they married in 1989 and went on to start a family together.
