28. Miranda Kerr and Evan Spiegel

Miranda Kerr was a single mom when she met Evan Spiegel, the co-founder, and CEO of Snap Inc., in 2014. She’d also only recovered from “an awful depression” brought on by a breakup. Miranda’s chance meeting with the Snapchat billionaire ignited something inside her, even though the timing didn’t seem ideal for romance. She was so convinced that she made the first step.

Kerr was seated next to Evan during a Louis Vuitton event. Miranda admitted that she broke the ice by telling him her favorite song was Spiegel Im Spiegel. Even though Evan didn’t recognize the song, the conversation continued, and the two eventually exchanged phone numbers. Evan then abruptly left, and she didn’t hear from him for a month. Rather than being concerned about dating norms, she grabbed her phone and texted him, asking if he listened to the song. That message led to a great degree of love, a marriage in 2017, and two kids.
