8.Zooey Deschanel With Her Sister Emily

With her parents being experienced figures in the entertainment industry, it’s no wonder Zooey Deschanel eventually followed suit. Born to a cinematographer-director father and an actress mother, Zooey made her debut in the business with the 1999 film Mumford, followed by a supporting part in 2000’s Almost Famous. Since then, the actress has become well-known for her role in titles such as Bridge to Terabithia, 500 Days of Summer, and New Girl.

A career under the spotlight undoubtedly runs in this family. After all, Zooey’s older sister Emily is also a well-known actress. A graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theater, Emily’s first role was in 1994’s It Could Happen to You – her dad worked as the film’s chief cinematographer. Nowadays, though, Emily is most known for her role as Dr. Temperance Brennan in the crime series Bones.
