He is an author and investigative journalist who has served at The Washington Post since the early ’70s. Thanks to his coverage of the Watergate scandal, he became one of the world’s most influential journalists.
Woodward also made contributions to two Pulitzer Prizes garnered by The Washington Post— the first was for Public Service in 1973 in connection to the paper’s coverage of Watergate, and the second was in 2002 for National Reporting, which was related to his coverage of September 11th. Aside from his broadcasting credits, Woodward also authored several books, 13 of which became #1 bestsellers.
